Roy Bryant (born January 24, 1931 – died September 1, 1994) was an American Store Owner and Former Soldier from Money, Mississippi. He and his half-brother J. W. Milam kidnapped, tortured, and murdered Emmet Till. Furthermore, he was a 14-year-old Afro-Amerian boy who was from Chicago.
This incident spread protests and also influenced the African-American Civil Rights Movement (1954–68). Moreover, Carolyn Donham (ex-wife of Roy) was also infamous for her role in the murder.
